Ford Vehicles Score Well in J.D. Power Study

It sounds like it should be fairly obvious that when a customer in Elizabeth City, NC purchases a new vehicle at their North Carolina Ford dealer, they should be walking away with a vehicle that is going to hold up well, especially over the course of the first year of ownership. Despite this, there are plenty of vehicles that experience problems in that first year, but Ford vehicles tend not to be among them.

We know this because of the most recent J.D. Power & Associates Initial Quality Study (IQS), which found that Ford cars were among the top two non-luxury brands in the industry in terms of being reliable during that first year, the highest ranking the automaker ever has had in the J.D. Power IQS.

"As Ford accelerates the pace of innovation, we believe this best-ever quality ranking demonstrates our new technologies are reliable and easy to use," said Bennie Fowler, group vice president, Quality. "The rapid improvements rated by third-party quality experts such as J.D. Power motivate us to improve our fitness even more as quality is a race that's never finished."

Even better, individual models like the Ford Expedition and Ford Mustang performed especially well, with both models topping their segments in initial quality due in part to major developments in terms of new technologies like updated SYNC 3 infotainment and boosted advanced safety features.

Here at Hall Ford Elizabeth City, we pride ourselves on selling vehicles that are going to bring drivers joy rather than headaches, and these most recent survey results prove that we can put our money where our mouths are. These are high-quality cars that will do what they're supposed to, which means you should feel safer than ever buying a new Ford automobile!
