Introducing the 2020 Ford Super Duty

As one of the largest automobile showcases in the United States, the Chicago Auto Show is where the most popular automakers show off their upcoming models. Ford was a huge presence at this year’s show, debuting a number of hot new models, with one of the hottest being the 2020 Ford Super Duty pickup truck. Here at Hall Ford Elizabeth City, we are expecting this highly anticipated new truck to hit our lot in the spring, and we were able to get a sneak preview of what this heavy-duty pickup will bring to the table.

Compared to the 2019 Ford Super Duty that we have on our lot – a great truck in its own right – the upcoming version will bring a lot of new features to the table, including a new grille, headlamps, and front fascia. At the heart of the 2020 Ford Super Duty is its heavy-duty powertrain, which is anchored by a monstrous 7.3-liter V8 gasoline engine. This optional engine delivers the kind of torque, power, and capability that you need for handling heavy-duty commercial applications and towing. The truck also comes with a 10-speed TorqShift w/SelectShift transmission that optimizes drive ratios and improves shift performance and efficiency.

Some of the most cutting-edge features that you’ll find on the 2020 Ford Super Duty are the driver-assist technologies. For instance, it comes standard with a Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert and trailer coverage, which signals you in the outside mirror when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot. You’ll also find Pro-Trailer Backup Assist, Trailer Reverse Guidance, and a 360-Degree Camera.

Expect this new Ford pickup truck to hit our lot in the coming months!
