You can ask about the vehicle’s cargo dimensions right in the app. Owners can also get help understanding available equipment such as BlueCruise® or learning how a particular vehicle function works.
While the assistant pulls information from the owner’s manual, it also has up-to-date information about current vehicle data and metrics. For example, it can provide guidance involving information such as tire pressure, oil life, fuel or charge level, warning lights, and service needs. You can type questions or upload an image when you ask for help.
Future Directions
Ford also plans to bring its AI assistant into select Ford models beginning in 2027. In the meantime, vehicles with the Ford Digital Experience™ are also gaining Google Gemini™ as an opt-in alternative to Google Assistant. Gemini handles in-vehicle tasks like navigation, texting, or adjusting the temperature, while the Ford App™’s AI assistant focuses on specific vehicle information.
