The 2027 Ford Explorer ST features a 3.0-liter EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 delivering up to 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque; that engine is also available on the 2027 Ford Explorer Tremor and 2027 Ford Explorer Platinum. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard, and available Intelligent 4WD adds traction versatility. For trail outings, the 2027 Ford Explorer Tremor makes four-wheel drive standard and includes added underbody protection, off-road suspension, a Torsen® limited-slip rear axle, and 8.7 inches of ground clearance.
